The Telangana Rastra Samiti chief, Mr K Chandrasekhar Rao told reporters that Vijayashanthi and he met for an hour and have agreed to work together to achieve Telangana. He added that he had no differences with her and the problems cropped up due to “mis-communication” which has been resolved now through open discussions. He described Vijayashanthi as his “10th sister”. The TRS chief already has nine sisters.
Mrs Vijayashanti who was termed a traitor post her meetings with then Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy and frequent visits to Medak district accompanied by Congress MLA TJR, has put her plans on joining the congress party after the sudden death of YSR in September in a Helicopter Crash. Post that, she also kept away from the party activities for more than a couple of months before meeting KCR again today.
Vijayashanthi who left after meeting without any comments to the media headed to Hotel Golkonda where the larger Telangana JAC meeting was taking place. During the discussion, Mr KCR also invited other past TRS party members who left for various reasons and that the party had withdrawn the suspension of TRS MLA, Mr Aravind Reddy.
